Three types of missing context
Most professionals who use AI provide one type of context: the task description. "Write me a memo about X." "Analyse this data." "Draft an email to the client." This is necessary but radically insufficient. There are three layers of context that most professionals never provide.
1. The reasoning layer
How do you actually make decisions? What do you check first? What tradeoffs do you consistently favour? What patterns do you watch for?
